Jaime settled back in his seat as he regarded the couple. He did note that the son seemed to feed for some time. "Your children seem strong and healthy." He offered as a complement.

Bronn gave a shrug, trying to mask his nervousness. But really, could he be helped? Margaery was a lovely girl, and it was only his bad luck that he hadn't been wed to her - he didn't necessarily know that Olenna would sooner marry Margaery to Ramsay Snow than Bronn of the Blackwater.

Margaery smiled down at her baby and kissed his forehead. "Indeed, the gods were merciful in their blessings."

Hannibal continued to give warning glares to Bronn. He then turned to focus on Jaime. "We have been greatly blessed by the gods and are very happy to share our joy and fortune. I look forward to training them as they grow older and perhaps they can serve the King one day when they are grown." He said. Pitching an idea like that would settle Jaime down quicker. He had spoken with Margaery about making false promises along these lines to lull the lion into a false sense of security.

Jaime was indeed surprised to hear that. He remained leaned back in his seat. "That would be very pleasing to the King. However, he is still in search of a bride for himself. Perhaps after he has children of his own we can discuss such options." He said.

Margaery had no problem with these false promises. To her mind, they weren't false - her babies would serve the king, and the king would be their father, soon enough.

But she kept such thoughts to herself for now. The prospect of her children being included in the discussion of when Tommen had children, however, made her stiffen a little.

"Gods be good, he will no doubt have a fine bride worthy of being his spouse soon enough," Margaery said softly.

Tommen was a good boy, and she had rather enjoyed the young Baratheon during her time in King's Landing.

Hannibal smiled as he gave a courteous nod. He reached over to take Margaery's hand and kiss the back of it before turning to focus on Jaime again. "Have there been any good prospects for a bride for our King? I do intend to have the King's enemies in the North destroyed so that we can attend his wedding." He said. It was almost a full truth. However, that was dependent on him 'killing' the King's enemies...which Hannibal had no intention to do other than Littlefinger.

Jaime gave a respectful nod to both of them, but kept his focus upon Hannibal. "There are a few prospects. My sister and the small council are considering the offers and the King hears their council. However, the King will make the final decision." At least, that is how Cersei will work diligently to make it appear.

Margaery smiled as he kissed over her hand. She looked down to their content son and cuddled him closer to her chest. She pretended to be nonchalant and ignorant of what they were discussing. But truly she took in all the facts and details, listening carefully.

Rhys kicked out his legs and began to look around curiously as his sister. "So many new voices, my little love." She nuzzled against him.

Margaery glanced up at the last bit and smiled. "I'm sure whoever is chosen for the King will be a noble and fair lady. A good queen for the realm."

Hannibal nodded in agreement at her fair words. "I agree. I think the woman who is worthy of our King will be a fair Queen indeed." He said.

Jaime had missed the hidden message behind Margaery's words. However, he gave a bow of his head to Hannibal. "Thank you. I do hope that both of you are right." He said in a joking manner.

Hannibal moved forward in his seat after a moment. "You must be tired. Why don't I show you to your chambers so that you can freshen up before dinner?" He offered.

Margaery's eyes flashed up to Hannibal and had a playful flicker in her dark eyes as she maintained that eye contact for a brief moment. Silently conveying to him how anxious she was to be Queen, and anxious for him to be her King. A secret message for the two of them alone to share.

She then moved to take Reina back from Hannibal and smiled to the pair of guests as they stood for Hannibal to lead them to their respective chambers. "Gentlemen, you will excuse me if I take this moment to put my babies to bed. They've had quite a long day indeed for the two of them."

Bronn gave a polite bow, but his eyes lingered on the fair Lady Bolton a bit longer than would be considered polite.

Hannibal met Margaery's gaze and then passed her both children before opening the door for her so that she could take their children and put them to bed for the evening.

Hannibal did catch Bronn staring at his wife and gave the man a cutting look. "Another nous see Bronn? Perhaps I should examine your eyes personally." He said with a slight edge to his voice.

Jaime quickly moved between Bronn and Hannibal. "I do apologize Lord Bolton. We are quite tired from our journey. Our eyes are unable to stay entirely focused. I am quite certain that we will be much better after a brief respite before dinner." He said.

Hannibal continued to glare at Bronn before motioning down the hall. "Your chambers are at the end of the hall. My servants have left the doors open for you." He said.

Bronn stiffened and grew nervous, but bowed again to the Lord of the Dreadfort. "My apologies, my Lord," but thank the gods for Ser Jaime and his explanation. "Indeed - I'm only tired, my eyes are lingering longer, taking a bit longer to focus. A bit of rest before dinner would do me good." Preferably some rest atop the Dreadfort rose.

Margaery was setting the babies into their cribs in the chambers she shared with Hannibal. She wrapped them up loosely in soft blankets of rabbit fur. Margaery leaned in and kissed their foreheads.

She was tired, and wondered if she had time for a brief rest before dinner was served. The babies would need someone near anyway, even if they were asleep. This was the part Margaery liked best, when they were asleep and cuddled up peacefully.

Jaime bowed to Hannibal and pushed Bronn down the hall towards their separate chambers. He brought Bronn into his chambers and shut the door. "What were you thinking when you stared at her like that? If you don't watch yourself you might be traveling back to King's Landing with a piece missing." He hissed.

Hannibal went back to his chambers and smiled as he silently watched Margaery put their children to bed. He walked up behind her and slowly wrapped his arms around her waist. He kissed along her neck and up to her ear. "You did well my love. I am very proud of how you handled yourself." He said softly.

Bronn had little choice but to move with Jaime as he shoved him into his chambers. He shrugged slightly and held his arms out to his sides. "Really, can you blame me? The girl's filled out rather nicely, don't say you don't see it too!"

Of course, he was indeed talking to the man who had apparently fallen in love with his sister and fucked her regularly.

Jaime sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Bronn...it doesn't matter what she looks like. She is Lady Bolton now. She is the most untouchable woman in the seven kingdoms. Her husband will pluck your eyes out just as easy as you taking a piss on the side of the road. Do not antagonize him. He is every bit as ruthless as his ancestors." He warned.

"I am going to let the lion fret over what I will do to his little pet. Unless he continues this boldness...I will allow him to leave for the moment.
