[For Hannibal] Alliance of Fire

Renly Baratheon was dead, leaving his claim to the throne empty and his wife Margaery Tyrell a widow. Roose Bolton, of course, could spy an opportunity a mile away. He sent a raven to Highgarden, to Lord Mace Tyrell. Roose proposed that his youngest son and only legitimate heir be married to Margaery. Mace agreed, rather quickly as well - likely out of fear for the Bolton name.

But of course, Olenna Tyrell wasn't about to let that agreement happen. At least not on any terms but her own. So the agreement was made, but a time for delivering her to Winterfell had not been determined, and Olenna was not about to agree to one.

Ramsay Snow, wanting to be useful to his father and acknowledged as a true Bolton, decided to take action on his own. He took a small band of Bolton men and rode to Highgarden - he knew Margaery was there, after her day-long marriage to the late King Joffrey had ended. He kidnapped the Tyrell heiress and rode back to Winterfell. When he arrived, he dragged Margaery in with no amount of mercy or delicacy. He found his half-brother and father in a sitting room going over charts and battle strategies. Margaery, clad in a light dress with a keyhole opening at the front showing her cleavage and wrapping around her lower back, showing off the curves of her back and the lean muscle beneath her skin. Her skin was cold and covered in goosebumps, her lips slightly dark and a light shade of blue. But all the fire and anger was in Margaery's eyes. She wrenched herself free of Ramsay's grip and pulled her lips back to bare her teeth.

"Unhand me, mongrel!" she hissed.

"Dear father, brother - see what I've brought? We'll not have the Tyrells welching on their agreement any longer," Ramsay grinned. "The flower is a little frosty, but only because she did not appreciate my generosity of allowing her to ride in the carriage."

"What I did not appreciate was a bastard snatching me from my ancestral home and dragging me with no proper clothes into the North," Margaery snapped.

She so badly wanted to shift towards the fire, but she was bound and determined to stand tall and tough. Ramsay obviously thought her weak, she would prove him wrong.

Hannibal nodded in agreement that he was curious how they knew as well. Rhys shook his head again. He was quite adamant that it would be another boy. "We will see in time." He said proudly.

Margaery nuzzled Reina's head and chuckled at how stubborn their children were. Just like their father.

There came a knock at the door, and a guard announced the arrival of a caravan at King's a landing, bearing the Tyrell golden rose. Olenna had sent for them with some urgency, stating that they should be there to receive the caravan.

Margaery smiled and dismissed the guard. She smirked at Hannibal and looked to the twins. "Do you two want to see great-grandmother? You must promise not to tell about the new baby."

"Shhhhh!" Reina brought a finger to her lips.

Hannibal nodded before sending the guard off. He stood and smiled to his children as they both agreed to keep the secret. He helped them to get dressed so that Margaery could change into something less see through. He would add his house ring and change into his dark red leathers with hints of gold along the seams.

Soon the four of them were making their way down to greet the caravan. They were waiting at the edge of the drawbridge for the caravan. Hannibal was curious of what Oleanna would say about the broken Lannister's mounted on the top of the wall.

Margaery's maids came and dressed her in a dark red gown with a dark leather corset. They went down to join Olenna at the drawbridge. Margaery kissed her grandmother before the older woman kissed the grandchildren.

"Glad you could join us," Olenna smiled as the guards unloaded the main coach of the caravan. "I've a gift for you, in honor of your coronation."

Hannibal chuckled as he greeted her warmly. "I am sorry to hear you had wait. My wife required an emergency audience with me this morning." He said with a twinkle in his eyes. He watched as the caravan was being unloaded and gave a respectful nod. "Thank tiu for your generosity." He said.

Margaery shot Hannibal a sharp look, but rolled her eyes and smiled.

"Don't thank me until you see it," Olenna replied.

"Did you have much trouble finding someone to retrieve them, grandmother?" Margaery asked.

"Not with the right amount of gold," Olenna replied.

"You're certain they're authentic?" Margaery asked.

"I am," Olenna smiled.

Hannibal noted hints from the two women, but would save his guess for later. "Why don't we go to the throne room to view this generous gift of yours then." He suggested with an easy smile. He was curious as to her motivations behind this gift. The Queen of Thorns was no fool, there was a purpose behind whatever his gift was.

Margaery nodded in agreement and took Hannibal's arm. Olenna took young Reina in her arms and carried her granddaughter to the throne room. She whispered to the little girl as she had whispered to Margaery in her youth. The Tyrells had strong women, and she was the next generation who would continue that legacy. Reina liked when her great-grandmother doted on her like that.

Once Margaery and Hannibal settled in the throne room, guards brought a great box to the center of the room. Margaery smiled to Hannibal and pointed. "Go on love."

"Big box, Papa!" Rhys proclaimed.

Inside the box Hannibal would find three great dragon eggs. One a dark blue with metallic gold veins, one white with bronze and red flecks, and the third dark royal purple.

Hannibal walked with his son and watched as the box was opened. He smiled as he inspected the eggs. He took his son closer to look at the eggs. "This is indeed a kingly gift. Thank you." He said as he looked to Margaery. "Now we do not have to get horses for our children." He said. He then looked to his son.

"One of these will be yours son, which one would you like?" Rhys looked at the eggs before turning to his sister. "Sister first!" He declared. Hannibal smiled proudly.

He turned to Reina, "Which one would you like my little Princess?" He asked her.

Reina smiled and toddled closer, Margaery close behind. She sucked her thumb as she looked at the eggs, considering the pretty colors before her. Finally she pointed to the dark purple egg and Margaery smiled.

"Is that the one you want, sweetheart?" Margaery asked.

Reina shook her head and pointed to Margaery. "For Mama."

Margaery was surprised, and smiled down to her baby. She kissed Reina's cheek and smiled. "Thank you, little love. It's perfect. The purple is for Mama, then."

Rhys smiled and clapped his hands at his sisters answer. "Your turn sister!" He cheered happily. Hannibal chuckled at his children's generosity and humbleness. "Go ahead Reina, pick blue or white." He said.

Reina continued sucking her thumb, then pointed to the white egg. Margaery smiled and kissed her cheek again. "Rhys, you like blue?" She asked, willing to switch if he wanted purple.

Hannibal smiled at the choice as he looked to his son. "Rhys clapped his hands together in excitement. "Blue, blue!" He said in excitement. Hannibal chuckled as he nodded his head in agreement. "Well done. Now the choices have been made." He said happily.

Margaery kissed the tops of their heads and whispered to them. "Thank your great-grandmother."

"Thank you great-gramma!" The twins cheered in unison.

Olenna chuckled and nodded her head. Margaery again whispered to the twins. "Shall we tell her the good news?"

Both of the twins nodded excitedly before looking at Oleanna. "We have a surprise for you Meme!" Rhys declared in excitement.

Hannibal moved to slip his arm around Margaery's waist as he kissed her temple tenderly. They would allow their children to make this announcement. He spotted Willas entering slowly and knew he would hear the news as well.

Reina grinned when she spied Willas and toddled over to him. "Unnl Willas!" Willas smiled and lifted her carefully.

"What's this I hear of news?" He asked.

Reina grinned and pointed to Margaery. "Sister!"

Rhys pouted and shook his head. He pointed to Margaery's belly. "Brother!"

Olenna looked to Margaery in bewilderment. "You're...with child again?"

Margaery nodded and Olenna gave her a tight hug.

Hannibal chuckled at the continued disagreement between his children. "Indeed she is. Although there seems to be some disagreement on if it will be a boy or a girl." He said as he gave the older lady room to hug Margaery.

"So I see!" Olenna laughed.

Willas smiled and hugged his neice. "So you're going to be a big sister! How exciting! You know, I'm a big brother."

Rhys clapped and held his hands out. "Me big brother!"

Margaery kissed Hannibal's cheek and rubbed her still slender belly.

Hannibal smiled as he continued to hold her and looked to his children. "Would the two of you like to meet your dragons and give them a name?" He asked his children, curious of how excited they would be to meet their dragons. He whistled lowly and Vhagar came around the corner. There was a low rumble from him when he saw the eggs.

Reina and Rhys both cheered in delight. Olenna stepped back as Vhagar entered the room. Margaery took Reina and Rhys and stepped back from the eggs. She would let Hannibal give the order to Vhagar to use his dragon flame on the eggs.

Hannibal nodded and pointed Vhagar closer. "Time to hatch your younger siblings, draconis." He said.

Vhagar moved forward and breathed fire upon the eggs. It took just a few moments before they hatched. The three dragons came out of their shells and matched to the shell perfectly. Rhys pointed to the blue one in excitement, "Dracon!" He said as he wanted to move closer to it.

Margaery held the babies protectively as Vhagar breathed fire upon the eggs. Reina and Rhys cried out in delight as the baby dragons came forth.

When Rhys moved closer to his dragon, Reina moved closer to hers. "Marcha!" She cried out, imitating her mother's name.

Margaery leaned in, suddenly fearful now as her children moved closer to the dragons. She looked upon her purple dragon and smiled. "Roose."

Hannibal smiled and watched as the baby dragons looked to Vhagar, then him, and then the children. He saw the blue dragon move towards Rhys and race around him before resting across his shoulders. The white dragon approached Reina and rubbed its head against her leg in a nuzzle. The purple dragon looked at Margaery before slowly moving forward. It went up to Margaery's shoulders before going down to cling against the fabric of her dress over her belly. It tilted its head to look up at Margaery.

Hannibal smiled when he saw the Dragons recognizing their owners. He looked to his children. "Remember the word Papa taught you?" Both children spoke the word protector in valeryn to the dragons. It established who they were to protect.

Margaery smiled in surprise as Roose clung to her dress and looked up at her, positioned over the baby. "Good boy," she praised, stroking over the dragon's head.

She was proud hearing her children learn and speak high valerian to their new pets.

"Now, you both understand how careful you must be, don't you?" She said sternly to the twins.

"Yes mama," they confirmed in unison.

Hannibal smiled as his children quickly became aqua yes with their pet dragons. He walked over to Margaery and let over the baby deagon's head. "A curious name my Queen." He said to her.
