Hannibal turned and waved his hand. "Back to sleep son." He said like he always did whenever Rhys woke in the middle of the night. Rhys giggled and shook his head, wanting to play his game with Papa.

Hannibal sighed as he kissed Margaery's temple. He slowly got up and moved to the make shift crib. He laid Rhys down and had the little back and forth until Rhys finally went to sleep in just a few minutes.

He then returned to Margaery and pulled her close. "If we act as if nothing is amiss, they won't remember a thing. We will need to begin working with them on sleeping in a different room from us. In the next few years they might remember what they see, but not yet." He explained.

Margaery watched as he dealt with their son. She smiled to herself, loving how he worked with their baby - it was incredible to her, how fierce he was in battle, how furiously he could fuck her, and how gently he could be as a father. She wondered if Roose Bolton had been such a good father to Hannibal.

"I will indeed be sad to see them move to another room," she lamented. "But it will afford us our liberty once again in our lovemaking."

She pushed her fingers through his hair. "I do love seeing you interact with them. Such a loving father."

Hannibal chuckled at the complement. "I will enjoy having you all o myself once again. I enjoy being with them. I take joy in it now before they are grown enough to cause me a headache." He teased lightly. Although if their children had half their temperament...gods help them during family quarrels.

Margaery smiled and nodded in agreement. "Could you have ever imagined being married? Could you have ever imagined being a father to children as clever as ours?"

She smiled and kissed him softly as she lay in his arms and cuddled into his chest.

Hannibal chuckled as he nodded in agreement. "Indeed we do have clever children. I am very proud to share them with you my love." He said with a wide smile.

Only two weeks had passed and they were now camped out just outside of King's landing. His spies had reported that every last ounce of the Dragonfire had been neutralized. He had put his plan for the kidnapping of Cersei in place. He did not want to leave Margaery alone again. Her grandmother and her brother were in their part of the circle encampment around the castle. He felt better leaving their children with them so that Margaery could go with him if she so desired.

Margaery was apprehensive about entering King's Landing. She knew Cersei had something horrible planned. She was happy her grandmother was close to attend the babies. But still, something was wrong.

"Are you certain you know what you're doing?" She looked to Hannibal.

Hannibal pulled her close and held her as she voiced her concern. "I trust that the large storehouses underground and along the main grounds of the red keep. The only thing left is whatever trap she has around herself. My core of assassins will be surrounding the base of her tower and sweep up to make certain there are no reinforcements. I intend to ride Vhagar and enter from above to surprise her before she can spring her trap." He said.

Margaery nodded slowly, feeling a little better. She looked to the babies and smiled as they slept in their cribs. Margaery pushed a lock of hair from out of Reina's face. The baby stirred, but continued to sleep.

"Very well, I do feel better knowing the Wildfire has been dealt with," she looked up to him. "It has been dealt with, has it not?"

Margaery stepped up to him and squeezed his upper arm. She wanted to go with him, but at the same time, she was still so hesitant to leave her babies, even if her grandmother and brother were here to give them military support.

Hannibal watched as she tended to their children. He gave a nod of his head at her question. "Everything on or below ground has been dealt with." He promised her. He had conflicted feelings about where he wanted her more as well. "Do you desire to come with me?" He was not giving a command, he was asking her first this time. The last time he had left without giving her a choice had tormented him.

Margaery looked to him and gave him a conflicted look. She nodded slowly after a long pause. "I do...but I fear for them," she looked to the sleeping twins. "I don't...I don't want to leave them, what if something happens?" She teared up at the mere possibility of coming back and finding their babies dead. She wouldn't put it past Cersei to do something terrible like that.

Hannibal had heard rumors about the silent guardian over the whore. He doubted Cersei would send him away from her side until she had killed at least half of the armies around her.

There was an alternative. The Sand Snakes were at their tent too. "The Sand Snakes did mention an interest in retrieving the whore themselves and returning her to camp. I could give them the task and remain here with you and our children if that would put you at ease." Hannibal was betting that Vhagar was the only thing that could kill the resurrected body of Clegane.

Margaery's eyes lit when he offered that option to her. She smiled and nodded before crossing to him and wrapping her arms around him. Margaery buried her face against his chest and nodded again. "Please. Yes, please do not separate me from my babies. They need to be with their mother. I can't leave them when such a great risk is at hand."

They were nearly done. Nearly through with this horrid war. Margaery would not feel safe until Cersei and the Mountain were dead and gone.

Hannibal saw the smile and hugged her close. He kissed her temple tenderly. "Do you desire that I remain here with you as well?" He asked her softly.

Margaery nodded slowly before looking up into his eyes. "I thought that was the whole purpose of the Sand Snakes' offer, to allow us both to stay together and with the babies."

Besides, she was afraid of what might happen if he left her alone again. She didn't want to be kidnapped again.

Hannibal nodded with a smile. "Gives me practice in delegating tasks to other." He teased.

He summoned the Sand Snakes in and informed them that he felt they were better equipped to lead the kidnapping mission. He was accepting their offer to do the assignment.

Margaery smiled, a little more secure knowing that they were safe from having to pursue Cersei when the home turf was hers. She waited for the Sand Snakes to go before retrieving the babies and offering Reina to Hannibal while she held Rhys.

"How does it feel, being so close?" She asked with a twinkle in her eye.

Hannibal smiled as he held their daughter. "I will feel better when the bitch had been captured and she is finally left without her claws." He said truthfully. He would never underestimate a desperate enemy.

Margaery nodded slowly in agreement. Reina cuddled against her father and soon enough began to doze off. Margaery kissed Reina's forehead. "I will feel much safer when our enemy lies dead at our feet and their hides adorn the walls."

Hannibal rocked their daughter and saw Rhys reaching for Margaery. "I have to mobile crucifixes prepared for the pair of them. I will use them as a terrible example to those who would think to cross us." He said.

He had his guards set up to warn them if anything was coming in a secret attack. He suspected an assassination attempt from Cersei. However, he was not certain on when it would come.

Margaery smiled and leaned down to kiss Rhys' hands as he touched over her face. She chuckled softly before looking up and giving Hannibal her full attention once more.

"Good. Parade them through the Kingdoms and let the people defile the corpse as they like," she replied. A slow smile crept across her face as she leaned in to kiss him. "Long live the king."

But she couldn't ignore the sinking feeling in her stomach. Something bad was coming.

Hannibal smiled and nodded to her. He placed their children into the armored crib once they were soundly asleep. He gave Margaery a blade as he armed himself as well. Moanna and s few extras from the pack had surrounded the crib. Vhagar was also inside the massive tent. Everyone was on edge for the attach they were worried about.

Margaery armed herself when he handed her the weapon. Then they waited. And waited. An hour passed without word from the Sand Snakes. Margaery looked to Hannibal, worry evident in her eyes.

Hannibal shared her worry as the time continued to pass. He was less worried about the sand snakes for the moment. He was far more worried about something he could feel nearby, but could not see.

Another half hour passed and the wolves began to rumble lowly, and the fur on the nape of their neck and haunches was raised. Vhagar rumbled lowly as well and began to look around. He did not like something he was smelling.

Hannibal shifted Margaery behind him and closer to the wolves. He was not used to this feeling. He could smell death in the air. He also caught a whif of a very unique smell. He quickly picked up a large bucket of the neutralizing agent and threw it on what remained of the Mountain. He gave the command to Vhagar who spat fire at the creature before snapping his jaws to tear him in half. He chewed the burning flesh before biting down on the lower half. Hannibal moved in to pour water over the scotch marks in the tent to prevent a true fire.

The wolves immediately sat down before laying down and relaxing. Hannibal turned to look at Margaery. "Are you alright?"

Margaery too smelled the stench of death. When she saw the Mountain, she screamed. Moanna of course was alert and ready to defend her Mistress. Before Vhagar attacked or Hannibal threw the agent on him, Moanna launched and tore at his body, scratching and tearing with her fangs. Then when Hannibal moved to throw the neutralizing agent on the Mountain, Moanna nimbly bolted out of the way.

Margaery clung to Hannibal in fear, burying her face against his back and gripping the armored cradle for fear of her children being harmed.

When it was all over she looked up. She nodded slowly, then noticed something the mountain had dropped. A hand. A severed hands with a serpent ring. A ring she recognized.

"Hannibal," she pointed. "The...the Sand Snakes..."

Hannibal saw the severed hand and frowned. "We will honor them for their sacrifice. This was her final play. She has no more weapons." He said.

There were sounds of yelling and screaming from outside. Soon the two youngest sand snakes came through the tent and tossed a very upset Cersei Lannister upon the floor of the tent. The middle sister was missing a hand. Hannibal bowed his head to the pair of them. "Thank you both. You will get the first opportunity to enjoy torturing the white and her brother once they are set up as the examples." He said.
