Hannibal smiled as he pressed their foreheads together. There was love in his eyes as he kissed her deeply. He did not need to tell her how much he cares for her. He pulled back with a soft chuckle as he gently caressed her belly. "Indeed they are. I fear I do not have the self control to even resist my selfish desires for your perfect body enough not to continue planting children within you."

Margaery chuckled at Hannibal's words and leaned into him. Fully overwhelmed by the love he felt for her and she for him. Never in her life before coming North could she have imagined loving a Bolton so deeply and so loyally.

The twins were about a year old when plans began advancing for their intentions in the South. Reina was walking, Rhys was learning as well but advancing slightly slower than his sister. Margaery had written in code to her grandmother and brother, who organized the Tyrell army and let small factions move North - unnoticed by the Lannisters due to their small numbers. Until nearly half the army seemed to suddenly appear at the Dreadfort.

Of course the rest of the North was at Hannibal's back - and the Bolton banner flew high as preparations were made and the march began. Margaery insisted on going by Hannibal's side, and took the twins with her. Moanna kept close, now adult size for a dire wolf. She allowed no one near the babies save for the Mistress and her mate.

Thus far the trek had been uneventful, though Margaery was worried for the future days. Word arrived that the Lannisters were amassing their army at Riverrun. Hannibal's army had made camp for the night, and Margaery was on the ground with the twins, again teaching them how to walk. Reina fell, but dusted herself off and used Moanna's fur to pull herself up again. Rhys managed to make it to his mother and laughed happily.

Things were progressing beautifully for taking King's Landing. Hannibal had used Sansa to contact her Uncle to prepare to take Riverrun in a joint attack against the Lannister's. He had promised the Blackfish full rights to his ancestral home along with all Lannister lands and the title of Warden of the East upon the completion of their successful campaign.

Hannibal was marching on the Twins first. Vhagar was now large enough to ride. Hannibal fully intended to finally reveal his prized pet and roast the entire Frey clan hiding away within the walls of their castle like the cowards they were. He was not going to leave a single Frey breathing, a promise to Sansa to avenge her mother and brothers deaths.

That was going to happen tonight. He went to his tent to find his wife and children. He intended to go alone; however, he knew his bride would likely make an argument to go with him. He applauded his children in their increasingly successful attempts at walking. "Well done! The two of you will be running and riding in a few months." He praised.

Margaery glanced up when she heard Hannibal's voice. She smiled and hugged Rhys tight to her. Reina grinned and toddled towards her father - only stumbling when she was close enough for him to catch her.

"Running, yes. Riding will come with time, they are still so little, after all," Margaery lightly scolded him. They would not be able to ride alone for some years yet. The twins were barely holding their heads upright, still gaining control over their necks.

Rhys toddled back to Moanna and looked up to his father, pointing to the Direwolf. "Mo-na," he smiled, roughly pronouncing her name. Moanna licked his face and Rhys laughed.

Margaery clapped in praise. "Very good, little love!" she looked up to Hannibal again and looked rather grim. "So then, darling, what is your plan for tonight?"

Hannibal did indeed scoop up Reina and tossed her into the air slightly to pull a giggle from her before setting her on her feet again. He smiled to his son and nodded. "Well done son. You are learning your big sisters name quickly." He praised.

He then turned to Margaery as he moved towards his special armor for when he rode Vhagar. "I'm going to avenge the Stark's and let the Lannister's begin to shit themselves with fear of what will happen to them. This is the best time, they would not expect such an attack." He said.

Margaery smiled as he played with their daughter, but she knew bad news was coming. And sure enough, Hannibal confirmed her suspicions. Margaery frowned as she looked up to him, worried.

"Then I'm going with you," she rose and moved to the small chest at the foot of her bed. She retrieved a few weapons Hannibal had given her. But Rhys toddled up and tugged her dress.

"Mama...maaama!" He called to her. Margaery turned to their son and sighed, picking him up in her arms.

Hannibal was halfway dressed when he heard her comment that she was going with him. He frowned and was relieved that Rhys was distracting her. "I need you here to watch over our children. I cannot risk them being left unattended by at least one of us when we are this close to the enemy." He said as he finished dressing and moved to kiss her forehead gently. "I promise to return in an hour." He said with a teasing wink.

He then turned before striding out of the tent and towards Rhagar. He took off quickly to prevent her from trying to follow.

Seeing her brother held by their mother, Reina fussed and tugged her skirts. Margaery lifted both babies easily. But when Hannibal refused her and told her to stay, Margaery tensed.

"No, I know, but I-" He was already leaving. Margaery bolted after him. "Hannibal! ...Hannibal!!" But he was on Vhagar already.

If he looked back he'd see Rhys and Reina crying, and Margaery's look of hurt as she watched him fly off.

Hannibal felt a pang of guilt when he heard the cries. However, he would make it up to her upon his return. There had been an uneasy feeling about today that made him worry about having anyone with him.

He instructed Vhagar to fly high and into a bank of clouds. They flew through the clouds silently as they approached the twins. Hannibal kept his mount in the clouds as he assessed the castle from above to look for the most dangerous weapons to target first. Followed by the bridges to escape the castle.

Begrudgingly, Margaery went back into the tent to soothe the twins. It took some time before Reina and Rhys calmed down. Moanna cuddled them and licked their faces to soothe them.

But Hannibal wouldn't find such a calm scene upon his return. Nor would he find Margaery. While he was gone, a small, silent group from the Lannister army moved in and kidnapped Margaery.

The tent was left in disarray, and the babies were crying on the cot that served as their parents' bed. Moanna, in an effort to protect her Mistress and the twins, had been badly wounded by the soldiers, but nonetheless lay beside the twins until she would see Hannibal. She whined, bleeding badly but still alive.

Margaery, on the other hand, had been dragged to Jaime Lannister at Riverrun and chained in the dungeons.

The entire Frey clan had been eliminated as promised.

His face was set in anger when he saw his camp in disarray. He heard crying and saw that his personal guard was missing. He was filled with rage at the sight before him. He quickly picked up his children and pet Moanna to soothe her. He summoned s Maester and the kennel master to immediately begin to mend the wolf and six more trusted wolves were brought in to comfort Moanna and to help protect the children. Hannibal saw that at least two Lannister's lie dead from Moanna alone.

His guard were in pursuit of the thieves. Hannibal held his children to comfort them as the order was given to move the camp immediately. He sent his best messenger and spy to Riverrun to wait and assist the Blackfish in a rescue attempt. He also summoned the blackfish to discuss secret entrances to the dungeons. He was going to make a grand show of a reaction like Jaime would want. He would appear to be setting up a drive and a direct attack. He wanted Jaime to think that this cowardly act would prompt him to be foolhardy...he would be terribly mistaken.

Hannibal had his entire camp moved to surround Riverrun in three days. Moanna was healing very well. Everything was prepared for the secret rescue mission. Hannibal had intentionally had his men set up the trenches to look sloppy and hurried. However, they were actually perfectly laid out so that he could sneak right up to the base of the castle underground through a series of secret tunnels dug beneath the trenches. With the help of both the Blackfish and the spy, their tunnel stopped on the other side of the wall from the dungeon hallway where Jaime was keeping Margaery.

They had loosened the bricks, but left them in place to not draw suspicion so that Hannibal with three bodyguards could enter. Hannibal had one dire wolf with him. He left Vhagar to guard Moanna and the children along with half a dozen more wolves. It was time to rescue his wife and annihilate the Lannister's.

After taking such a beating, it took a while for Moanna to let the Maester and Kennel Master touch her to help heal her. Her first priority was to the babies, and protecting them. Moanna was despondent and depressed, because she had failed to protect her Mistress.

Margaery was similarly despondent. Jaime Lannister had ordered his men to handle her carefully, for he respected her as another Highborn. But his men had handled her roughly, and threw her into the dungeons, nearly breaking her arm in the process. Margaery had been chained too tightly, and the irons rubbed her skin raw. All she could do was sit in silence.

While she sat, she heard the bricks moving and the scraping of tools against stone. Suspicious, remembering what Ramsay Snow had done to Theon Grey joy, Margaery moved back and curled into herself against the back wall of her cell.

Hannibal paused his diggers once he was in the tunnel. He peeked through the cracks and noted that there did not seem to be any guards. He could see that their tunnel was slightly off, but it was fortunate. They were actually working on the wall to the cell Margaery was in.

He heard no sounds of men moving through the castle. He gave the signal and the diggers opened the bricks quickly. He strode through followed by his three men. They held up sheilds to keep them protected within the metal cell. He pulled out a series of keys his spy had provided. He quickly found one that unlocked her restraints. He kissed her deeply as he lifted her into his arms. "I am here, you are safe." He whispered softly into her ear.

He quickly carried her out and left his body guards and the diggers to put the wall back together and re-seal it. He did not want the Lannister's to figure out how they were able to rescue her just yet.

He carried her through all of the tunnels and straight to their tent. He set her down on their bed so that their children could see that she was alright.

Margaery could hardly believe her eyes when she saw Hannibal walk through the opened wall. She burst into tears of relief and threw her arms around him when he freed her. Margaery buried her face into his chest and sobbed quietly so they wouldn't be discovered.

She didn't know where he was taking her, she didn't care. All she wanted was to have him hold her. Then suddenly, once they were in the tunnel, Margaery glanced up in horror.

"The twins!! Hannibal, the babies! They aren't hurt are they? I'll kill those Lannister bastards!!!" Margaery cried out.

Then, as he brought her into their tent, Reina and Rhys both cried out. "MAMA!!" They both exclaimed simultaneously. Moanna whined in relief and tried to stand and greet her Mistress, but her wounds were still tender and she fell right back down.

"Moanna!!" Margaery cried out and bolted right for the loyal direwolf.

Hannibal sat next to her and wrapped his arms around her as she pet over Moanna. Reina and Rhys ran over and tumbled into the pair of them while they clung to Margaery. Hannibal kissed her temple tenderly. "She is healing fine. She would be getting better quicker if she rested, but she kept trying to get up to help me get you. I had to keep Vhagar here to keep her in this tent." He said as a slight scold to the wolf, but also praise for her wanting to help get Margaery back.

"We are all safe now. That golden bastard has made his last mistake." He said with gravel in his voice.

With Margaery back, Moanna settled down and rested her head over her paws. Margaery reached down and lifted Reina and Rhys into her arms, kissing their heads over and over again. She trembled in her relief, that everything was all right now, and the children were safe.

Then came the rage.

Margaery looked up to Hannibal with darkness in her eyes. She held their babies tight, but glared darkly. "Kill him. Show no mercy. He threatened my children and hurt my dire wolf," the first gift Hannibal had ever given her.

Hannibal was relieved to have her in his arms once again. He had been worried. He held her tight and kissed her temple. He pulled back slightly as he felt her relief shifting to her rage. His eyes matched hers with darkness and he nodded his head slowly. "Do not worry. I intend to kill him very painfully and send his heads to his lover. I only wish I could see the look on her face when she receives our gift of his heads." He said with dark glee in his eyes.

Margaery nodded and looked to her babies for comfort. She kissed them and both Reina and Rhys refused to let her go for fear that she would be taken away again.

"We won't be safe..." she whispered, paranoia clear in her eyes. "Until that bitch shares a grave with her lover..."

Hannibal kissed her temple before looking deep into her eyes. "That whore won't have a chance to get close to us. I swear she will be put down quickly. Did your grandmother make a pact with Dorne on our behalf? Once we take out the 'great' Lannister army we can surround King's Landing from the North and the South." He said.

He looked forward to seeing what act of desperation she would commit. He knew of the stores of Dragonfire in King's landing. He would not send any of his military within the city, nor would he enter until he knew where all of it was located. He would not put it past her to rig the entire city to explode once his military entered the city.

Margaery nodded. "The Dornish King refused her at first. But the Sand Snakes put an end to his reign and they control the land now." She explained. "They forged a pact with grandmother against Cersei and have agreed to back us."

Moanna whimpered and tried to rise again. Margaery handed Reina to Hannibal so she could move easier and sat down on the floor next to the wolf. "No, no Moanna. Lie down now, you need to rest."

"Down, Mo-na!" Rhys echoed his mother's command, which made her smile and kiss his chubby cheek.

Hannibal smiled at that news as he moved with her to comfort Moanna as she stay on the ground. He held Reina easily, but she would slowly work on wiggling her way back to Margaery at her first opportunity.

"I should say it would be wisest to name your grandmother as my hand. She has the best knowledge of politics than any man left." He said as he kissed her temple.

He then began to stand slowly. "Why don't you accompany me with our children? Let us go an toy with the lion a bit. I'm going to demand he show you to me to prove that you are healthy...I am curious what he will do when he discovers you are missing." He said with a smirk. He would hide her away in a full uniform so that she could enjoy his anguish.

Margaery laughed softly and took Reina back to her arms. They cuddled in close and Moanna rested her head over Margaery's lap.

"Grandmother wouldn't enter politics if you paid her," Margaery glanced up to him. "My brother might be persuaded, however."

She considered his suggestion and looked to the babies. "Are you certain they will be safe? I don't want them so close to that Lannister..."

Hannibal was glad to see her smile. "I am curious on how he would like you volunteering him for such an honor." He teased.

He then sat to a bit to look deep into her eyes. "They will be with me. That bastard won't get near them." He promised.

Margaery rocked the twins, and slowly they began dozing against her chest. Rhys buried his face into her neck while Reina snuggled against her chest. Moanna huffed but otherwise rested against her mistress.

"I am certain my brother would welcome the opportunity until such time as my father's passing. Then his duty would lie with High Garden," she replied.

She was apprehensive about letting the children be so near an enemy army. They were defenseless - easy prey were it not for their parents. "I don't know...they're still so little Hannibal." So vulnerable.

Hannibal kissed her temple gently. "I do not want you or our children out of my sight until the lions are all put down and all of our enemies have been destroyed." He said. The fear of any of them getting kidnapped genuinely scaring him and showing in his eyes.
