When the food was served Viserys offered a toast to his sister and the union to be forged through her and Jorah between the North and the South. The gathered lords and ladies raised their glasses in agreement, as did Daenerys. Her violet eyes flashed to Jorah as her brother spoke and she couldn't help but blush again. She tipped the goblet to her lips and drank of the wine. It was sweet and she very much enjoyed it.

Her brother commented that the food was indeed to his liking, which he admitted surprised him giving how far North they were. Daenerys found this rude, but didn't scold her brother. She knew better. Instead she sought to rectify his remark.

"The lamb is delicious Ser Jorah - your cooks are indeed very skilled," she complimented politely, taking another bite of the lamb. It was soft and fell apart in her mouth much to her delight.

Jorah accepted the complement and ignored the rudeness from the Prince. The complement from Daenerys was far more important to him. He gave a polite bow to the Prince before looking to his future bride with a smile. "I am glad to hear such praise. My cooks will also be pleased to hear such praise." He said with pride. The ceremony would be early the next morning and after one more meal the Prince was scheduled to leave.

Daenerys smiled, happy to have a husband-to-be that already seemed to care so much for her. She only hoped that it wasn't a facade. Honestly she was anxious for her brother to leave so that she could get settled into her new home properly.

She was anxious for the ceremony. Anxious to be a wife.

The rest of the evening went smoothly and soon Jorah was escorting his young bride to be back to her chambers for the evening. "I look forward to seeing you out in the godswood in the morning. I have been told that your brother will come to collect you just before dawn." He said as he slowly escorted her to her door. "You have been told that we will be outside?" He did not want her to not have enough layers to remain warm for the ceremony.

Daenerys had enjoyed the rest of the evening. She had been able to ignore her brother's grouchy attitude and just enjoy being involved with the festivities. When Jorah led her back to her chambers Daenerys felt her heart beat faster in her chest. She glanced up for him and smiled to him.

"Yes, I've been told, I am most anxious for it. Well, perhaps not anxious for the cold, but still..." Daenerys bit her lip as she looked up at Jorah. "I confess...it would be my first kiss. I just hope I do not do it incorrectly."

The kiss, or the bedding ceremony, which her brother declared mandatory. Gods, if only Rhaegar hadn't died in the war, then he might have given her away.

Jorah smiled at her when he heard her worries. He stopped her just in front of her door and looked at her. He gently brushed his thumb over her cheek. "You just stand there and let me come to you." He said softly.

He did lean forward and whispered lowly. "I have instructed trusted men to escort you if your brother insists on a bedding ceremony. They will be gentle and if you are not comfortable, they will shield you from less friendly eyes and keep you as modest as possible until arriving in the room." He told her. A bedding was not always observed in the North, and was usually only performed if royalty was present and insisted upon it.

Daenerys blushed as he brushed his thumb over her cheek. Her violet eyes looked up to him and she trembled just softly as he leaned in. She thought perhaps he was showing her, demonstrating what would happen in the morning in the godswood. A trial run, if you will. So slowly, she had closed her eyes and parted her lips just slightly-

...and then he'd spoken. And she'd never been more embarrassed. But in an effort to push past her embarrassment, Daenerys nodded. "Thank you - yes, that is indeed kind of you." For royalty was indeed present, and insisting upon a bedding ceremony - all thanks to Viserys Targaryen.

Jorah had seen how she had puckered her lips in hopes of a practice kiss. He smiled as he kissed her temple gently. "Lets save that for tomorrow." He rumbled as he drifted closer to her body.

It took serious self restraint to step back from her. He bowed as he kissed the back of her hand. "I look forward to seeing you in the morning." He said before slowly walking away and towards his chambers.

Daenerys simply blushed and nodded in agreement. Tomorrow. She would wait anxiously come morning. Daenerys bid her betrothed a soft good night and stepped into her chambers once he was gone.

She tried to sleep but it was difficult. And sure enough Viserys came to collect her just before dawn. The maids dressed her in a gown of white with pristine jewels sewn into the fabric. Then a cloak of soft snow rabbit fur was wrapped about her shoulders to keep her warm. Her hair was dressed in strands of pearls and glittering diamonds. When she was finally ready, Viserys escorted her out of the castle to the godswood.

Jorah did not sleep well at all that night. He had woken up twice and had to hide away to jerk himself off from imagining his soon to be wife. He had woken early and dressed in his finest robes bearing the sigil of his house. He had a dark cloak of black bear fur upon his shoulders for warmth.

When he spotted Daenerys walking towards him he felt as if her beauty would melt the snow around her. He was eager to take her hands into his own and be wed.

Viserys led Daenerys down the path and stepped aside to observe the ceremony. Daenerys glanced up and blushed at seeing Ser Jorah in such fine robes and looking so masculine with his bear fur cloak.

She was used to Southern weddings, which differed to Northern weddings slightly. Thus she would have to follow Jorah's lead as the ceremony started.

Fortunately weddings in the north only took a few moments. It was far too cold to have long winded souhron weddings here. After their simple vows, Jorah was given permission to kiss her. He brushed his thumb over her cheek as he had the night before.

Jorah leaned in slowly before kissing her gently. He desired to hold it lo her than he did, but he did pull back from the kiss slowly to cheers. He smiled at his wife before sweeping her off of her feet and into his powerful arms to carry her to the banquet hall that was far warmer than the snow outside.

Daenerys blushed as she recited her vows back to him. When he reached out for her, Daenerys blushed. She parted her lips softly as he leaned in for the kiss. It was sweet yet slightly rough from his lips.

But already she wanted another.

Then as Jorah swept her up, Daenerys yelped in surprise, snow kicking up around them. But she threw her arms around his neck and was smiling uncontrollably.

Jorah liked that surprised yelp from her along with how she curled into him afterwards. He set her down once they were inside and the rest of the guests streamed in soon after them. He removed her cloak and his own before setting his bearskin atop her cloak near their table. A symbol for what would happen later in the evening.

Daenerys smiled, happy to be on her feet again beside her new husband. As he removed her cloak she looked at him again with wide violet eyes. The same way she had looked at him the night before, she leaned up a bit, trying to give him a silent clue that she wanted another kiss.

Jorah smiled down to her. He saw her lean towards him wanting another kiss. He closed the distance and kissed her with a little more passion this time, but he kept his tongue within his own mouth for now.

As soon as the Prince arrived the feast would begin. Jorah was eager for the feast to end so that he could enjoy time alone with his wife.

Daenerys was too happy to have another kiss from her new husband. Her lips closed over his lower lip as he kissed her, and the people seemed overjoyed to see them both happy. When Viserys stepped into the main hall, there was much celebrating and rejoicing, eating and drinking. Daenerys made it a point to enjoy the abundant roast lamb and the assembled berry tarts.

But soon enough, Viserys wanted to see their marriage consummated and the calls for a bedding ceremony began.

Jorah enjoyed the festivities greatly. He sighed softly to himself Shen the bedding ceremony was called for. When negotiating this ceremony, he had only conceeded to a bedding if those who escorted them remained outside of their room. They could listen, but not stand in the room. He knew his bride was a young virgin and he did not want her to be watched by her brother during her first time.

He nodded to begin the ritual and his trusted men slowly swarmed around his wife to keep her safe from the truly drunkards who would attempt to grope her. He went along with the women who swarmed around him, eager to get to his wife.

Viserys had not been thrilled when the negotiations had been set for the bedding ceremony. He wanted things done his way, or no way at all. But in the spirit of the happy occasion, he had agreed to let those who escorted them to the bedding ceremony remain outside the room.

Daenerys was happy that Jorah's promise that only his trusted men would drag her off to their bed chamber would carry her off and touch her came to pass. Her gown and jewels were stripped from her form until they made it to the bedchamber and she was pushed inside along with Jorah. Odd, how she had been curious and anxious for this part, but indeed Daenerys was a true maid and knew not the touch of a man, nor how to really please a man no matter how she'd heard her brother talk about the matter. She found herself looking upon Jorah with wide, curious eyes, her cheeks bright red as she settled back against the bed, pulling up some of hte furs to cover herself.

Daenerys found her breath caught in her chest as he kissed up higher along her leg. She watched carefully as he moved. Surprised when she found she wanted him to move higher.
