[For Jorah/Hannibal] Homecoming
In Essos, Daenerys had given birth to a healthy and lively baby girl. She had her father's dark eyes but the light hair and full face of her mother. It was shortly after her birth that a letter arrived from across the Shivering Sea - too far for a raven to fly. It came from King's Landing and bared the Bolton seal. The letter invited Daenerys back to Westeros, but not to reclaim the Iron Throne. Apparently, Hannibal Bolton had taken control of King'sLanding, and the Starks had all but been demolished. The Lannisters, in turn, had also been eradicated.
Daenerys was shocked. But more than that, she suspected treason. As did Tyrion Lannister. With her newborn daughter to her breast, Daenerys took council with Jorah, Grey Worm, Missandei and Tyrion.
"Who does this Bolton think he is?" She snapped. "Inviting me back without promising to relinquish the throne to me? It is mine by birthright, I will not allow some savage northman to take what is mine."
Lannister, Baratheon, Bolton - the name didn't matter. A thief was a thief.
"If he took King's Landing and defeated the Lannister army, my queen, then we can conclude that he indeed has a powerful army of his own," Tyrion pointed out.

A few weeks had gone by, and Margaery's belly had begun to swell only slightly with their fourth child. Of course Olenna could spot this a mile away and was already declaring name options. Aenar was with the pair of them while they took tea in the gardens overlooking the ocean. The boy was now sitting up on his own in his mother's lap, but still feed from her breast. The twins were studying with their tutors.
"So tell me child," Olenna sipped her tea. "What is your husband's intention by inviting the Targaryen girl back here?"
Aenar cooed when Roose came close and he patted his hands over the dragon's nose. Margaery glanced up to her grandmother, who added more to her question.
"Don't tell me he means to surrender his throne to her, now that they have a confirmed common lineage?" Olenna scoffed.
"Certainly not, grandmother," Margaery replied sharply. "Do you honestly think my husband is the type of man to relinquish power? No. But if you're so curious, all him yourself, he should be joining us shortly."

She pushed back and sat upon the bed, pouting. "I should not be apart from you."

Her eyes blazed. There was anger there still, but she would not argue with hm. "Kill them all. Show no mercy."
She leaned down and put her face close to his. "Then come back and face my wrath for going alone and leaving me at the Wall."

The main battle had begun exactly as planned. The officers had been trapped and Hannibal was leading a charge in Vhagar's back with Jorah riding along as well. They tried to separate the officers with dragon fire and they jumped to attack and kill off the officers one by one with valeryian steel.

"You're wearing armor," Margaery snapped.
"You're not." Daenerys shot back.
She could see the imposter queen was jealous, but Daenerys had other things to focus on. Daenerys was determined to give Jorah a chance on his own. She wouldn't swoop in and take the victory from him. She would only move in if Jorah and Hannibal's forces were overwhelmed.

She watched carefully for Hannibal and willed herself to not think angrily of him. She would take out her fury when he returned.

Hannibal was an imposing man and this King was considerably taller than him. Hannibal spoke in the old tongue of men. "Your attempt to overthrow the living has come to an end. You were created in the past and today you will be undone." He said with full authority in his voice.
The king tilted his head for a moment before speaking. The two men on either side of Hannibal stiffened before becoming absolutely frozen. Hannibal quickly sliced his blade in a circle to cut their heads off. Vhagar roasted and ate them in an instant.
Hannibal's eyes had turned ice blue and he had felt a surge of energy. The King seemed to be confused by this turn of events.
Hannibal stared the creature in its eyes before continuing to speak. "I am descended from the family you had before you were turned. Your tricks and magic will not affect your own kin." He said before he raised his blade to block the attack from an underling who had been called back to protect his king. Vhagar began to eat him as Hannibal crossed blades with the King.
It was a difficult battle and Hannibal had to exercise caution and dodge a few heavy blows. He thought he had dodged well, until he felt the sharp bite of the King's blade through his plated armor. He could feel the cut across his chest. He could feel the blood freezing beneath his armor from the cold and knew he would not bleed out, but he would require mending upon his return to castle Black.
The metallic smell of his blood caused red to tint the edges of his ice blue eyes. With a fierce battle cry he rushed the King, he dove and rolled under the swing of his blade before popping up into the air and cutting the creatures head clean off of his shoulders. Blood splattered all over him and he commanded Vhagar to eat the body. He then picked up the head.
As he was bent over, he heard footsteps approaching rapidly. He swung his blade and used the head as a club. He heard a cry of pain and looked to see that he had struck Jorah. Jon Snow was limping after the man and saw how Jorah was clinging to his leg that clearly was broken.
Jon Snow shook his head. "He saw blood and said you were bitten. He was attacking you."
Hannibal gave a dark glare to Jorah. "We vowed to set aside our political differences. You have dishonored yourself further." He said before looking to Jon. "Drag his old carcass back to the castle. I will deal with him later, he can be with his wife. Someone needs to tend to his leg." He said.
He then mounted Vhagar and flew over the fiery pit. He held the head high and called out to the remaining white walkers to join their master. He then threw the head into the pit. Once it hit the flames all white walkers both in and out of the pit screamed in pain as they exploded into flames. Hannibal turned and saw a ring of smoke going up in a series of circles. This had just been the first wave...of they had not defeated him...he shook his head to clear it. He grimaced at the motion. He needed to clean up his wounds and be prepared to take full command.

She saw her husband fight bravely. She saw how Hannibal so skillfully faced the Night King, the oldest and most powerful White Walker in existence, all on his own in hand-to-hand combat. She couldn't have been prouder, or more terrified. It seems her terror was justified when she saw how the creature moved in, and slashed Hannibal in the chest. Margaery screamed, echoing loud above the sounds of battle. No, not Hannibal! Not her husband! Tears formed in her eyes as the fear gripped her heart like poisoned ice, she felt ill just looking upon the scene. Everything stopped for her then. Time froze and for a long moment, Margaery couldn't breathe.
It was only when Hannibal moved again and continued the battle that her senses rushed back to her. Everything was a blur for a moment, but then she saw what unfolded below. He...he won? He beheaded the Night King? It wasn't really real for Margaery until she saw the head held high by her husband.
She screamed with delight then, jubilant and elated; though it was short-lived. When she saw Jorah moving so quickly towards Hannibal, her gaze darkened. Only when Hannibal defended himself and dealt with the traitor did she look to Daenerys.
"Your husband attacked the King!" She hissed. "After our agreement to see this enemy defeated together!"
"He was slashed by the Night King! Clearly he thought your husband was wounded and infected!" Daenerys protested.
But both women looked up as Hannibal pitched the head into the flames. Was it over now? Could it be over? Margaery wasn't sure how much more of this she could take. She looked up to Vhagar and called out for Hannibal.

He looked to Jon Snow and Grey Worm. They quickly latched his leg to a branch and worked to get him on a dragon to return to the castle quickly. It took some effort, but they landed at castle black in half an hour. Jorah was doing his best not to cry out in pain and give Hannibal the satisfaction of knowing the damage he had caused.

He then turned to Margaery. "We will be needed at the gate." He said as he led her to the elevator to start heading down. He wanted to oversee the selection of who needed to be quarantined.

For the moment, she was more distracted with Jorah and his wounds. Daenerys bolted for Jorah when he was moved from the dragon's back. "Jorah!" she cried out as she ran up to him. Her arms were around him in an instant, supporting him on herself so that he could stand without putting too much weight on his leg.
"What happened? Tell me what was going on!" Daenerys touched over his jaw.

"Thank the gods you survived!" Margaery smiled, but then hit him hard in the arm, using all of her strength. "Do you have any idea how much you worried me!? I had to sit up here and watch all that, helplessly!!"
Margaery hit him again in the arm, tears in her eyes now falling freely down her face. "And you have to do it all again? I can't take it, Hannibal, not again!" Margaery cried and buried her face into his neck.

"...Hannibal...are you really all right?" she feared what might happen if they removed his armor.

Hannibal gave a nod. "Very well. My troops will stay separate from our guests from Essos." He then turned to glare at Danaerys and Jorah. He approached and looked over the pair of them. "The pair of you could be accused of attempted assassination." He said with fire and rage in his voice. His eyes turned to Danaerys and began speaking in High Valeryian. "I will flay him where he stands and turn your own dragon children upon you if you commanded him to attack me on the field. I will take your daughter and sterilize her so that your bloodline will end." He said meaning every single word of his threat. "Did you order him to attack me?"

When Hannibal appeared and moved closer to her and Jorah, she glared up at him, violet eyes alight. She didn't shy away, even when he threatened her and Jorah in Valeryian. Daenerys stood up straighter and glared right back at him.
"You will not threaten my daughter again, I don't care what power you think you have or what you think you can do," Daenerys hissed in Valeryian. "I did not give such a command. We all saw you cut by the Night King's sword. Anyone could have reasoned that you might be infected. Your eyes were blue, for hells' sake!"

Margaery didn't like it when Hannibal threatened Daella. The child didn't deserve to be involved in this. She gave Hannibal's arm a slight squeeze, but otherwise made no moves nor said anything on the matter.
"This can be dealt with later, can it not?" Margaery was concerned about his wounds. She wanted them looked at immediately. It wouldn't do for him to get upset, to get his blood going until it burst from his chest and he bled out. Again she squeezed Hannibal's arm, hoping that he would comply. "Shouldn't we be focused on healing the wounded and re-fortifying the Wall?"
