[For Eric] Mission Objective: Rescue the Damsel
A descendant of the fabled witch, Morgan Le Fae. Anne could hardly believe such a thing was even possible. Still, since her brief encounter with the sorceress in a dream, her talent for magic had been unlocked and she'd been able to conjure spells. It seemed to make sense anyway, considering that many in her time had called her a witch. Might as well enjoy the perks of it, right?
Anne had been practicing in Eric's apartment day after day, using her magic to light candles, and conjure minor spirits to talk to when Eric was gone on a mission. But she was getting bored. She wanted to go out and use her magic to help him with these missions of his! But she wasn't sure how he'd react to such a desire. She hadn't ran the idea by him just yet.

There was relative quiet once Anne had seated herself aside from the occasional flick of the book page, but Eric remained close and quiet all the same. He had set his comms so only she would hear him in case he needed to get her attention, though with someone like Doom one couldn't predict the results.
After some minutes the corridor suddenly emitted a set of clanging footsteps before the door opened and Doom stood at the doorway, imposing and arms folded. "You are proving more trying than I had expected, Miss Boleyn. But your efforts to escape have been futile."

She closed her book and leaned back in her seat as she looked up at him.
"How long am I to be here? What is the point of keeping me locked up this way? Some private little pretty bird for you?"

Victor moved closer to her until he was in the middle of the room and half looming over her position, clearly a sign of passive intimidation. "In answer to your questions you my dear, you will remain as long as I see fit, and when I am ready for you I shall examine your magical powers and their sources and if I deem it I will suck that power from you. Or I may elect to be merciful, give you the opportunity to serve me. It all depends on what I find you to be. A valued guest accepting of her time here, or a irritant prisoner I will execute when her use is done. Be aware that I could have you locked in the deepest dungeon, but due to your connection to a woman I have... great... respect for... I give you certain options. Struggle, little bird, and I will elect to cut your wings when I open the cage. And that time is on you sooner than you think."

Sure enough, he did.
Anne smirked as she looked up to Doom. "You care for my ancestor, don't you? More than you'll dare admit aloud. You wouldn't dare hurt me then. You know as well as I that Morgan le Fay would never forgive you if you killed the descendant she's so carefully taught and nurtured. She may even become angry enough to kill you for such an action against me."
She was cocky now - with all the arrogance and regality of the Queen she had been set to be in her own time.

Doom in contrast seemed passive externally but the flash in his visible eyes and the fact he maintained the same distance show she was ranked him. He was silent for a few moments, then spoke.
"Le Fay and I share a connection, but do not mistake it for your absolute security. Rest assured that I will be investigating your powers. And if needed I can ensure means where would make death far preferable. We shall speak again shortly. Do not think to escape."
With that he spun with one shift movement of his green cape and closed the doorway with slightly more force than was needed, the sound of his metal feet clanking into the distance.

Even as he turned on his heel to leave, Anne brought a hand up and waved playfully to him. She waited a few moments after the door was closed again and glanced down to her chest.
"He's gone - I think it's safe now," she whispered.

He zipped out from between her breasts and impulsively pressed his body against her soft lips once more. "You were brilliant! I don't think I have loved you any more than I do at this moment, Anne."
no subject
"Did I really do so well, my love?" She grinned and looked to him. "I know we only have a little while, but would you please come back to proper size that I might thank my knight properly?"
no subject
With a use of his Pym Particles he was back to full size and wrapping his hands around her. "I'm happy to be your knight, Anne."

"I was scared too, for both of us, but I didn't know what Doom was going to do to you and that scared me most. But we're both here now, ok?"
no subject
"Yes, we're both here. So then, how are we to escape, love?" she tilted her head a bit.

"How does it work?" She felt embarrassed, that she didn't know, like she should know, after so much time with him. But she didn't. Proper damsel mode was kicking in now.

"It's fairly straight forwards, but we'll take it slow. First thing's to get it on you. The suit is form fitting so you should be able to wear it no problem."
