[For Elphaba] The Wicked Witch of Barsoom

Barsoom was not a war-torn planet, but it was by no means peaceful. The inhabitants of Helium still had tension with the primitive Tharks. There were raids on trade routes daily that the Jeddak had to deal with. For the most part, Dejah was not involved with the affairs of her father. She was too busy working with her theories and scientific research.

The presence of John Carter had brought more knowledge of the Ninth Ray to Helium. Dejah was determined to harness the power of the Ninth Ray to use it herself.

But for the moment, she was content to relax, sitting in the red sand gardens maintained in the royal courtyard. Dejah was clad in her usual loose silks, which had plenty of cutouts and openings to reveal her skin and the patterns tattooed along her long legs and slender arms. Jewels and metals adorned her neck and waist and wrists. Dejah Thoris, the princess of Helium, was renowned as one of - if not the - most beautiful women on Barsoom. Her dark hair fell in waves down her back, part of it secured at the crown of her head with an ornate metal jeweled pin. Her eyes, the richest blue, were pouring over a text of mythology.

She tried to keep her mind off of the husband that had gone missing. She tried not to think of John Carter of Earth.

Elphaba nodded in agreement before she shook her head. "No...I have only found spells involving opening things to try and get out." She forced herself to blush darkly. "Those ended very differently than I had thought they would." She said as she bit on her lower lip slightly. Dejah may or may not notice Elphaba's nipples hardening, Elphaba was working hard to arouse herself slightly while looking embarrassed about a false memory. She was curious how Dejah would react.

Dejah glanced to Elphaba as she spoke. She noticed that bite to her lower lip and found herself inexplicably pulled towards the green-skinned woman. "And...how did they end?" She asked, her voice barely a whisper. Dejah found herself entranced, looking at how her dark clothing seemed to melt over her emerald form. She seemed to be wearing much more than most Barsoomians wore. Dejah herself had most of her copper skin exposed.

Elphaba saw the curiosity in Dejah face and felt a wave of genuine arousal race through her. She looked at Dejah from half hooded eyes of embarrassment. "A desire within me became so strong that I could not think clearly for hours as I tried to satisfy it. I had to enchant a few items within my home to assist when my own hands became tired, but my needs had not yet rneennsatisfied." She spoke lowly to act Embarrassed about what she was describing. She wondered if Dejah would understand what was being described.

"A desire, you say?" Dejah repeated. Her dark blue eyes flickered up and down Elphaba's form to take in every curve of her body.

For a moment she pictured Elphaba lying against black silk sheets with her dark hair strewn against the sheets. She pictured those green fingers exploring her soft folds. A dark blush appeared on her copper cheeks.

"What sort of desire? What is it that you so badly desire?"

Elphaba saw those blue eyes look over her slowly and began to hope that perhaps she could initiate her true intentions naturally. The blush after that look was a hint. Carnal desire was a basic practice here on Barsoom. It was not so forbidden as it was on Earth, but nor was it openly practiced in the streets. Her mind flashed back to her wedding night, and when John Carter had saved her from the Tharks.

Dejah blushed darker, but didn't move away. She looked up into Elphaba's eyes and again bit her lower lip. "It's not that...it just wouldn't be right - I'd be betraying my husband..." Dejah couldn't help but feel especially warm being so close to her. Her teeth pinched her lower lip as she stopped and imagined in her mind how it might feel to have Elphaba's fingers touch and explore her body.

Elphaba saw her desires and stepped close enough so that their bodies were brushing up against each other slightly. "Wouldn't your husband want you to always be satisfied? Elphaba tilted her head at that. "He would? Is your husband away Dejah?" She asked as she brought a hand up to rest on one of Dejah's shoulders. It was an innocent touch for now. One meant to pull what Dejah was hesitating to say aloud out.

Dejah looked away, averting her dark blue eyes at the question. The touch of Elphaba's fingers to her shoulder was not on she shied away from. Dejah liked the heat from Elphaba's touch, and glanced up to meet her gaze again. "...he is. He's been missing since our wedding night," she admitted.

Elphaba's eyes didnwoden in genuine shock. "Since your wedding night? How long have you been without satisfaction Dejah?" She asked with a bit of concern in her voice. The hand on Dejah's shoulder gave her a gentle squeeze as a sign she desired to comfort Dejah. She didn't move closer just yet. She could wait a little longer.

Dejah bit her lower lip and blushed, not wanting to admit how long she had gone without John Carter's touch. But she looked up when Elphaba squeezed her shoulder again. "...years," she whispered, unable to look her new companion in the eye.

Elphaba didn't even try to hide her shock at that statement. "You poor thing! Abandoned on your wedding night and left unsatisfied for years?" She pulled Dejah into a hug to press their bodies together. One hand moved to brush hair behind her ear to cup her perfect cheek. "May I kiss you Dejah? I feel your perfect lips have been denied a kiss for far too long."

The press of Elphaba's body against hers when she embraced her was a warmth that Dejah hadn't felt in years. But there was a great difference from Elphaba's body and John Carter's. Elphaba's body was soft, and slender. When she made the request, Dejah blushed and glanced away. "It...it wouldn't be right..." she whispered. Though even as she spoke, her hands ghosted over Elphaba's hourglass figure.

Elphaba listened to both the words and the body language. She slid the hand on Dejah's cheek to the back of her head. Elphaba then closed the gap slowly to kiss the beautiful woman deeply.
