Margaery whimpered and continued to cry from the pain. She squeezed Hannibal's hand and followed the midwife's instructions, pushing and breathing when ordered to do so. It took several hours of this before she was properly dilated, and finally she gave birth to the healthy, screaming baby.

The midwife took the baby off to the section of the room to clean it before wrapping it in a soft blanket to keep it warm - the North was indeed cold, sometimes too cold for a baby.

"Your majesties, may I introduce you to and congratulate you on welcoming your daughter," the midwife smiled before handing the baby to Margaery.

Margaery was over the moon. she smiled as she held their daughter close and kissed her little forehead. "Hello my sweet one - you did give your mother some trouble now, didn't you?" she teased.
