Hannibal smiled to his bride as their children were indeed present. He would not have Danaerys suspecting treachery so soon after meeting. He wanted her to be completely trusting.
He led his family to their dragons. They all mounted in their appropriate places before flying to buzz over the crowds that had gathered to taunt and insult Danaerys. They landed flawlessly just before the great arena. The crowds immediately quieted down once the royal family arrived. Hannibal looked out over the crowd with a calm demeanor, but very stern gaze. "This is not how a guest of the King should be greeted."
A man from the crowd shouted obscenities at Danaerys. Hannibal's eyes found the man quickly. He was brought forward as they dismounted their dragons. Hannibal looked at the man cooly. "Prince Rhys, teach him a lesson in manners." Rhys nodded and mimicked his father's body language. He tsked lowly at his poor choice of words. He called out to his sister in Valeryian to ask what to remove as an example. She responded with tongue. He then slid out a small blade and signaled the guards to open the man's mouth. He sliced the tongue off and tossed it to his dragon who he commanded to fry it. Hannibal looked to the crowd. "Let this be a lesson to never insult my guests." He said. The crowd quickly dispersed.
Hannibal gave a nod of his head to Danaerys before speaking to her with flawless Valeryian. "Welcome, I do apologize for the rude behavior. I swear you will not be mistreated so in my presence again."
