Margaery ate her fill and was happy to be able to reward her pup with a treat. She held the chicken to the pup after making her sit and lay down. The pup eagerly ate the treat and Margaery took a drink from her cup.

When his question came so bluntly, Margaery nearly coughed. She wasn't used to people being so forward and blunt, aside from her grandmother. Honestly, she didn't know what to do.

"What makes you think I'm displeased about our betrothal?" She tilted her head. He had a point though, she could have been wedded to a Lannister, a thought that disgusted Margaery to her very core. But his other words...she would have equal power to him? How much of that was honeyed words and false promises, she wondered.
