[For Medusa] Unlikely Partnership

 It hadn't been that long ago since he found Medusa. For whatever reason, she had been held in that lab he investigated, and he could tell she was trouble. Why go through so much effort to restrict her after all? But with guns pointed his way, there was no choice but to release her.

After much blood left thanks to their combined efforts, they had managed to escape, fleeing to a hotel. He sat across from her, staring as she seemed so relaxed.

"So...you never quite explained what you are."

Medusa hadn't expected him to let her go. She knew eventually she would escape that lab, all part of her plan. But she hadn't expected Hei to be her savior. Still, she knew better than to look a gift horse in the mouth. Medusa let him release her, and used her magic to help them escape.

...in a most macabre and bloody fashion.

Medusa sat with one leg crossed over the other and wiped some of the blood from her fingers as delicately as one might dry their hands of water. Her golden eyes flicked up to Hei as he spoke and she chuckled softly.

"You released me not knowing what I am? Some might consider that foolish," she teased. "I'll put it simply: I'm a Witch. They thought they could use my magic to their purposes."

She tilted a brow as she looked at him again. "And what precisely were you doing there? I doubt you were on some mission to rescue a damsel."
