Daenerys dug her nails into Jorah's arms. Pure rage was rushing through her now. Losing her baby would be one thing; she'd lost a baby before. But to be poisoned and have her baby murdered? No. That was another thing altogether.

When Jorah stood up Missandei went straight to her Khaleesi's side. If only to soothe the queen with her presence. Daenerys watched as Jorah seized Pycelle. She made no move to stop him. No, she wanted Pycelle to be punished, and as the father of her child, Jorah was within his right to want to bring the Maester pain. But her rational mind poked at her, reminding her that without proof that Pycelle was to blame, there could be no punishment.

"Jorah," Daenerys' voice was strained as she called to him. But she leveled a glare at Pycelle. "Answer the questions. Now."


Even as another wave of pain rushed through her Daenerys focused her pain into anger to keep from doubling over.
