Anne's eyes lit with glee. She nodded in agreement with him but of course the first thing she did was scurry straight over to a window to look outside. Her jaw dropped immediately. It wasn't a necessarily fantastic view of the city, but it was an astounding one all the same for a woman of the 16th century.
"My God..." she mumbled. "Eric...these structures...they're all so big! I've never seen anything like them!"
There were sounds from below that called Anne's attention downward, and it was only then that she realized how high they were. She cried out in surprise again, seeing the cars moving in the street below. Anne tilted her head, curious.
"Eric...what on earth are those down below?" She asked.
