Lockheed was also fond of Earth's beaches, the warmth of the area seeping nicely into his body and at a comfortably hot temperature for him. And he could tell that Dejah relished the chance to come here too. No doubt it reminded her of Barsoom, though he expected the size of Earth's oceans compared to her own world had impressed her. And the little twins were enjoying things too. Since they had been born they had mastered walking and crawling quickly, though flight was still a little untested.

He chuckled at Dinah's reaction to the hot sand, though he admired her curiousity since it was a trait he shared. Not to be deterred by his sister's attempt the more purple Martin strode a little boldly towards the same place, tested the sand and leapt back just as surprised.
