Dejah blushed as the question hit her ears. On Barsoom, it was simply a matter of referring to someone as yours, and them reciprocating. So, in Dejah's eyes and culture, they were as good as married as they had said 'my dragon' and 'my princess'. But she knew that's not quite how things worked on Jasoom - clearly not based on Lockheed asking her the question again.
