Growing up as a lady-in-waiting to the French queen had its perks. Anne had learned a great deal of things from the more loose-tongued and wanton ladies in France. She had learned a great deal without even once putting herself at risk. She had been able to brag at one time that her virginity had served the French court; a great point of stature indeed.

Now, she had to abandon her maiden claims. And she was fine with that.
