Dejah approached her father's chambers, totally unaware that she was being hunted. She had barely gotten to the doorway of her father's chambers when the floor caved beneath her. Dejah cried out as she fell, but her cry was silenced as she suddenly found herself bound and gagged. She hit the ground with a hard 'thud' and grunted despite the gag. Dejah squirmed and tugged her arms in a desperate attempt to free herself.

It was then that she realized she was not alone. Dejah looked up and her blue eyes filled with fear upon seeing the green-skinned woman before her. Was she a Thark? Was she being kidnapped as a war hostage? No...she had two arms, and Tharks had four.

Dejah tried to squirm away to put distance between the two of them.
