feelslikeimspilling: I am up in the clouds, I am up in the clouds❞ (✖ l i g h t o f d a y)

Will was far more intelligent than he looked, often because of how bashful and antisocial he was, people assumed he was simple or uneducated, they couldn't be further from the truth. A smile was offered when Margaery commented on his knowledge of the olden names. "Thank you my Lady. Indeed. I insisted father had a scholar from the citadel send us scrolls of stories and facts. It's rather secluded up North, much easier for a raven to bring you your education than rely on what little books our own library had." He shouldn't have said that. He'd make it sound as though his house was a poor one.

As Margaery drew attention to her attire with such comments about her current collection vastly missing anything to keep one warm, Will blushed again. It drew his eyes to her figure, her elegant gown and the way it hung off her like a sweet delicious berry hanging off a branch. "You would look stunning in the snow Lady Tyrell. Your hair and cheeks, the colour would stand out, I imagine it would be iridescent.." How could he look at her now?! He should stop talking while he still could.

Thankfully, Margaery had given him something more to think on. With a nod and clearing his throat, Will composed himself. "It would be a honnor to teach you the basics. I'm sure you will raise her just fine." It would mean splitting his time here if Jamie decided to call upon him, but Will was more than happy to extend his trip a few more days if it meant teaching Margaery about her pup.

As she gave her instructions and started to leave, Will let out a deep sigh. He'd been holding himself in for so long, struggling in social environments was something he needed to work on, perhaps the tea in the gardens would work in his favour? Give him some more experience in social graces. Yes, that's right! This was a positive thing and besides he would be in the company of a beautiful Lady, the boys back home wouldn't believe this could happen to Will, just wait until they found out.

Making his way to the chamber Jamie had kindly set aside for him, Will wasted no time at all in stripping off and washing down. Upon his bed were the few clothes he had brought with him. Deciding to dress as fine as he could, Will slipped into his best cotton tunic and leather waistcoat. Even taking the time to comb through his shaggy dark hair, it falling in tight little ringlets at the side of his brow and behind his ears. Polishing his boots and pulling his belt tight, Will finished off by dabbing himself in a fragrance he'd enjoyed since he was a boy, it was like smoked oak and wet pine mixed with sweet white lilies.

Nervously he made his way down into the main lobby where he'd await Margaery's page. Fiddling with the small embroided hounds that decorated his waistcoat, he felt far from grand compared to the paintings and fabrics strewn about the Castle. He was out-of-place and he knew it.
