It was off-putting to say the least, the treatment he'd endured once arriving here. No thought or consideration had gone into Will's journey South. He'd hardly had time to change or rest before being put to work, only to have Jamie Lannister cancel the days events. No expenses had been offered to compensate his trouble, to feed his dogs or entertain himself with. When he returns North, his neighbouring clans would hear of how rude and impractical the Royal family was (in letter form of course! God forbid Will should be social enough to tell this himself!)
A clear discomfort washed over his face as he'd been touched by Jamie, it was hard for Will to hide it, he just wasn't as used to company and contact as he should have been, hopefully Jamie hadn't noticed and nor had the crowd before it left. Nodding to Margaery as she apologised for the behaviour. "Oh no, not at all, please you've no need to- and on their behalf. Honestly. No harm no foul." Dusting himself down once he stood back up and the last of the tasty treats were fed, Will turned pink in a hot flush to his cheeks. She was offering him tea?! How could he refuse?! How could he accept!? Was it right to? The Tyrells were a well known House and Will's was not, it would be odd for them to share free time together, wouldn't it?
"Oh I um.." Stuttering, not being able to find the words so instead he nodded. "I wouldn't wish to impose on you or your Grandmother. I have some sour bread and jerked guinea fowl, really, there's no need to put yourself out just for me... Besides, I'm hardly dressed for tea in the garden am I?" He smiles, an actual true smile this time, it lit his face for a passing moment. Will tried to distract her and hope that she wouldn't insist, should she in fact insist, Will knew that he'd have no choice but to accept her invitation, otherwise he'd be insulting here and that was not something he wished to do.
Pointing to the pup that had made her its mother, Will smiled. " What name are you going to give her? She's a 3rd generation, half wolf half Graham-hound. Her lineage goes back to the first breed we raised. She's one of a kind." Much like her new owner.
