tyrelltempest: (I've got plans for you...)

Southern men, by contrast to their Northern counterparts, were entitled and pompous more often than not. Margaery had no interest in such men. She loved her brothers, they were men of chivalry. As was the case with Renly Baratheon. She had loved Renly, but he had loved Loras; something she didn't hold against him. Margaery had loved Renly so that she was content to let him do as he pleased even if it left her wanting. Even if it hurt her feelings that he didn't want her.

But that had ended with Renly's death. No sense focusing on it now. But in any case, Margaery desired to be queen, but had no interest nor love for Crown Prince Joffrey. She'd heard Sansa's warning; that the heir was a brat and a monster. She and her grandmother both feared for Margaery's future with him. But in truth, Margaery hoped for a secret escape. Being queen was not worth being the wife of Joffrey Baratheon.

But again, that was something to think on later.

When Will tossed the rabbit meat, the pup in Margaery's arms began to squirm and yip, not wanting to be left out on receiving the treat. With a laugh, Margaery knelt down and set the pup on the ground again to let her partake of the rabbit meat. She stood up again and smiled at the fluffy, wiggling pups as they gobbled up the treat pieces.

Margaery began to reply, but the argument from the others cut her off and demanded her attention. She watched and rolled her eyes at the petulance of the Lannisters, even Jaime's own. But she was careful to smile and give him a slight nod in response to his smile - it wouldn't do to be perceived as rude by Jaime Lannister. When they were gone, she was able to breathe a bit easier. Margaery let out a slight sigh before glancing to Will again.

"On behalf of the rest of the Southern people, allow me to apologize for them," she shook her head. "They really can be a rude and thoughtless bunch." Though she was careful to keep her voice quiet so as to avoid prying eyes or ears.

She felt bad that he had to stay an additional amount of time because Joffrey couldn't decide what he truly wanted to do to amuse himself. "Well, if you must stay an additional day, Lord Graham, perhaps you would join me and my grandmother for tea?" Margaery tilted her head, doe eyes wide and curious how he would take the invitation. "You've been put to a great deal of trouble, coming all the way down here, I should think you deserve to have better hospitality than what's being offered. Grandmother and I usually take tea in the gardens, she gets the best cakes and cheeses in the kingdom." Tea in the garden - typical Tyrells.

The runt pup that had taken such a shine to Margaery, after finishing her fill of the rabbit meat, began rubbing against her legs and rolling over her feet once again.
