Will was already sweating, what with the thick layers of fur and various hide he was donning. It had been a long ride from his small village in the North to the sweltering heat of the South. He'd heard it was warmer, true, but still winter was coming and yet not so much as a golden leaf littered the ground here, where as back home the snow was already stating to fall. Truly a bewildering place.
As the grand and handsome Jamie Lannister tended to entertaining the small crowd of nobles that had gathered, rather than actually paying attention to what Will had to say, the Kennel Master sighed, taking to lean against the fence that kept his dogs safe inside. Avoiding looking at the crowd for too long, Will drifted his attention towards the pups. Really, he shouldn't have brought them but who would tend to them had he left them? It had only been Will alone in the Graham's large and lonely manor house, ever since his father left in search of Dire wolfs beyond the wall to cross breed.
How does one interrupt a Lannister without losing their tongue? Deciding it best to let him blow out all his hot wind and rehearsed chatter, Will gave up, he'd be called for when needed, at least that was certain. For the mean time, he stepped inside the pen and walked through the wriggling mess of pups. Smiling warmly at them as they yapped and crawled over his boots before turning rather coy at seeing a woman handling one of his pack.
"She likes you." His voice soft and yet awkward, as if pushed from his mouth in regret almost. Talking to people was so hard and Will struggled to make the first contact. "You can have her... I mean, you've imprinted on her now so, she's already yours. I eh, I can't train her now anyway so..." Fidgeting with his hands, wiping them on the front of his leather waistcoat before crossing them over his chest, only to flinch and finally rest at tucking them behind his back. A half smile twitched at his lips as his eyes scanned over hers quick and nervously.
